We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and organised team player to join us as an Administrator at our Churchview. Churchviewdelivers compassionate residential, dementia and respite care in a high quality and lively environment.

If you have a passion for making a positive difference and can demonstrate the right behaviours, attitude and enthusiasm for working in an adult social care environment this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop in a caring, person-centred organisation.

You will have a strong, well-rounded administrative background and an excellent telephone manner, along with seamless confidence in liaising with staff and residents at all levels. Experience of the care home industry, along with budgets/budgetary control, is desirable but not essential

The key responsibilities of our Administrator include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Home Manager, on all aspects relating to both residents and employees.
  • Welcoming all visitors to the home in a warm friendly manner
  • Showing visitors and prospective residents and relatives around the home.
  • Answering the phone in a friendly and professional manner, deal with enquiries over the telephone.
  • Distribution all incoming post and prepare all outgoing post.
  • Ordering stationery requirements for the Home.
  • Liaising with the chiropodist/ hairdresser/ to arrange appointments for the residents and ensure payments are made.
  • Producing reports, information and other requests by the Home Manager and head office as required, accurately and on time.
  • Supporting the Home Manager as directed to ensure the smooth running of the home.
  • Be compassionate, understanding and courteous to residents, their families and all colleagues at the home.
  • Keep all resident and staff records and files (paper & software based) up to date and tidy on a daily basis.
